I live in Houston, Texas with my husband, and I've been building businesses since 2004. Before that, I spent years managing communications and administration in corporate America, which is where two important things happened. First, I learned the art of stellar customer service, the kind where every person feels like the only person. Second, as you know if you've read my story, that's where all that coffee gave me the jitters that changed my relationship with my daily cup forever.
Corporate America gave me my work ethic and my one-cup rule. I've kept both.
That old adage has been my benchmark for over twenty years. It shaped how I ran my businesses, how I served my customers, and now, how I run this little corner of the internet. I'm not here to impress you with credentials. I'm here because I care about what happens when someone gets the right information at the right time.
Along the way, I've been blessed with some recognition: named an Outstanding Woman Who Inspires by Hope for Women magazine, Leading Business Woman of the Year, a two-time Top 50 Fabulous Women honoree, and once upon a time I hosted on CNN Radio. I share that not to shine, but so you know this isn't my first time showing up for people. It's what I do, and it's what I love.
No hype, no sugar-coating, and yes, I hear the pun. If I don't know something, I'll say so. If something has a downside, you'll hear it from me first.
A diagnosis doesn't go away on its own. I choose to pay attention, ask questions, and act on what I learn, one cup at a time. I'd love that for you too.
People don't know what they don't know. My favorite thing in the world is putting the right information in front of someone while it can still make a difference.
